Rebecca Maillette creates rustic jewelry in a peaceful home studio nestled in her and her husband’s 10 acre forest. She uses sterling silver, different types of turquoise and other natural stones to make her art. She enjoys the evolution of each piece of jewelry; hand picking each stone, allowing it to speak to the design and stamping words that provoke a thought. She believes her love, passion and thoughtful intention of creating is bound to each creation. Her bohemian spirit is inspired by a love of nature, travel, art and music. Rebecca graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a BFA in Graphic Design. She studied metalsmithing in Scottsdale, Arizona and currently lives in Bay City, Michigan.
