Emily Webster trained in lost-wax casting in northern Italy, apprenticed to a Master Goldsmith in New York City, managed a fine jewelry repair shop while mastering the art of stone-setting in New Orleans, and was educated in gemology in California - this breadth of experience has led her to work with all kinds of materials, the 'high' and the 'low', and they are equal in her view, from quartz to diamonds, and from silver fabrication to classical goldsmithing techniques.
