Bryanna Manning is a painter based in West Michigan. Her work is inspired by the Lake Michigan lakeshore and surrounding landscape. She has a bachelor’s degree in studio art & communication from Hope College and a master’s degree in communication from Western Michigan University. Bryanna’s work evokes a sense of nostalgia and presence, bringing viewers back in time to long afternoons at the shore and days spent exploring in the woods. Influenced by modern impressionism, her paintings are gestural in application and rich in texture. When she’s not painting, Bryanna spends her days at the lakeshore, throwing tennis balls to her dog Rosie, and hanging out with her five wonderful children and husband, Jake.
