Handmade ceramics that hold priceless treasures—that’s Tess’ specialty. Tess Kress is the artist behind The Minimalist Ceramist, and she’s kicking clutter + celebrating childhood exploration one handmade shelf at a time. Tess turned to pottery in 2021 as a creative outlet after two years navigating the pandemic with two young kiddos, and immediately fell in love. She became a member of her local studio and has since created a home studio where she spends as much time creating as motherhood will allow.
